Hi there,
At the moment I don't have active candidates there (rare). That doesn't mean they're not hiring.
For example, I keep hearing people say x region isn't hiring, but then my direct contacts (Partners) there literally tell me “yes, we are still hiring”.
Even when the pipeline is low or overhiring happened, these firms still generally hire.
Timing matters though! Make sure to network to find out timing for you.

Depends on the office.
I'm coaching candidates now in SE Asia for Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, so those are definitely interviewing at the moment.
I recommend you reach out directly to recruiters at the specific firm and office that you're going for in the region.

Agree with Ian.
My few indications:
- I have candidates who are in the process there but everything is put on hold for them and some even did get a rejection at the resume stage with very strong resumes.
- My website sales in the region are also down vs. last year same time
- I also hear through the grapevine that Bain Singapore stopped hiring until 2025 (take it with a grain of salt)
All points to the fact that the situation is quite tricky there atm.
Let's hope that it picks up for the remainder of the year!

Not sure about SEA, but the Central Asia (Kazakhstan / Uzbekistan) is certainly hiring right now.

Hi,
The answer is still yes, but depends on office and country. BCG is still hiring in certain locations. SG is hard because of EP requirements etc, but I am coaching some who are interviewing for KL/JKT.
