Hi there,
I joined a single industry focused boutique consulting firm when I graduated from a target school (Oxford). They do great work and I have been staffed on some impressive projects (one was a multi billion dollar integration where I was working abroad).
I am keen though to move to MBB / Tier 2 firm and broaden the kinds of projects I work on. I was wondering if I could come in as an experienced hire at these firms or if I would need to apply at the entry level in the Autumn? Further could I get an accelerated path to promotion given my experience?
Thanks and look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks that is good to know. I am keen to make a move asap though. Presumably entry level would thus be my best bet? Does the tenure credit apply in this case?
I think entry level is your best best indeed. Realistically they might grant you some small tenure credit such as 3M, but it also depends on your interview performance and potentially can be discussed after the offer.
