I have applied to BCG and have been invited to interviews that are upcoming. Is it feasible to nonetheless apply to career events of BCG Platinion? Will HR know that I have interest in both firms? Thanks for your help!

Nice work!
Please focus on your interview. You have a shot at the job - stay focused on BCG itself!
IF that fails, there might be a Platinion event. But, right now, your goal is to ace the Generalist interviews.
If you really want to hedge your bets, then attend events, network with, and apply to the dozens upon dozens of other consultancies!

That's a great question.
Platinion is part of BCG, so to my knowledge, you cannot apply to both at the same time.
Within McK, for instance, you cannot apply for Digital and Generalist at the same time. Or apply for generalist and research or expert at the same time.
But there are some exceptions and differences between the regions, so the best way to settle this is to discuss it with the recruiter.

Hi,
BCG has tried to centralize and make their recruiting across business arms more transparent and tracked - so today this is not possible for most key regions.
BCG and BCG Platinion (or BCG X) roles are fairly different - best for you to really decide on what you want and what suits you better :)
