I'm preparing for an interview with BCG platinion. Most of the cases I can find online are business strategy oriented. I'm looking for some cases that analyze from a technology standpoint. Any recommendations are appropriated.

I completely agree that it's quite tough to find adequate tech-focused cases.
That's why I created 2 :)
Both of these are based on real-life cases and have a tech-focus.
Please feel free to reach out if you would:
a) Like to be cased in the two above (hint: They don't cover all aspects of those projects...i.e. the cases could take multiple twists and turns and test additional themes when I conduct them)

I also did recruit successfully for PwC Tech practice, worked closely with BCG Platinion and Tech-based projects during my time at BCG, and have helped numerous candidates prepare for Tech/IT-based interviews leveraging my tech background sp happy to support however needed!

Even for BCG platinion, I would recommend you to do almost all your prep with the business strategy cases, since these for sure are going to appear in the interviews and you have to have a good performance with them.
Furthermore, the more tech-oriented cases are no different: once you know how to solve the "classical" ones, you have the toolkit for the more specialized ones.
The classics are:
1. Profitability cases- basic profitability framework.
2. Idea generation cases: for any specif issue
3. Growth cases: market penetration, new product launch, product mix change, etc.
4. Pricing cases
5. M&A cases
6. Valuation cases
7. Value chain cases
Given you are under this much time contraint, consider working with a coach to foster speed and ensure you have a tailored plan to be very targeted. PM me interested!
