Hi
Hope everybody is doing fine. I really want to ask what is the net compensation and perks offered to entry level candidates at MBB offices in Belgium. I have heard its as low as 2100 euro net. I really want to know more about it.

Hi there,
Entre level depends on whether it's after or before an advanced degree (MBA, PhD) or significant work experience.
For a BA, directionally that's on the low end. I'd expect 40-50% more.
For an Associate, I would expect at least double.
You can also find these things out if you network with consultants from that particular office.
Here's how to lead these discussions:
Don't ask them directly for the compensation. Just for a ‘range’.
Best,
Cristian
Hi there,
It should be around 70k Euro per annum.
Hi there,
if by entry level you mean Associate, from what I understand, gross base comp should be around 50k. I'm not familiar with local tax rules though, so can't comment on net.
Also, note this number is exclusive of performance bonus and other perks + at firms like BCG you will see steep salary progression along the way.
Hope this helps.
Regards, Andi
Hello,
Not sure what you mean by 2100 euro net, and entry level salaries depends on if you're coming in as an analyst (post-undergrad) or associate (post-MBA / masters). I'd expect around 50K-70K at least for analyst, 100K+ for associate, though it always varies by firm and region. MBB salaries tend to be quite generous.
