BCG first round.

Just had my first-round with BCG this past Friday. I sent thank you notes and I am now waiting. Does anyone know the expected timeline moving forward?

Hi Anonymous,

I agree with Vlad, replies for first rounds usually range from the next day to one week. Second rounds are normally scheduled between one week and one month from the moment you hear back.

Best,

Francesco

Hey there, this depends on a number of factors: Location, position applied to, cycle you applied in (e.g. graduate recruiting vs off-cycle/experienced hire), so it is very difficult for us to give you an accurate answer. Entire process can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. Once you hear back, you will likely have 1-2 weeks until the next round.

Good luck!

Collected McKinsey & BCG offers/ Ex-McKinsey consultant/Harvard/WBS/MSU

Hi,

I agree with Alessandro. If you apply for an entry role, typically they tell you right after the interview. At the same time, experienced professionals may wait up to a week.

Next time you go to the interview, try to break the ice with HR people. They might be very helpful.

All the best!
