Hi everyone,

I've applied to BCG Dubai through a referral one week ago, but still did not hear back. Has anyone heard back after applying? What is the normal timeline before hearing back?

Thank you!

Hi there,

Q: I've applied to BCG Dubai through a referral one week ago, but still did not hear back. Has anyone heard back after applying? What is the normal timeline before hearing back?

It depends on the office, but I would expect a range between 1 week and 1 month. Given you had a referral, you may want to check with your connection if you don’t hear from them within a few weeks.

Good luck!

Hi there,

1 week is not a lot of time.

I would wait at least 2 weeks before pinging your contact.

Fingers crossed!

Cheers,

Florian

Hi there,

One week is still ok, I suggest to wait 1 more and then reach out directly to ask when to expect the outcome.

Good luck!

Hi there,

One week is by no means too long. Anything that goes beyond 3-4 weeks would be concerning and then it might be worth to reach out to the recruiter and ask for an update.

Good luck with the application!

Best,

Cristian

Many people are currently reporting longer wait times to hear back from companies. I would give it another week and then first gently check back in with the person who referred you. Depending on what they say you can decide on your next steps.

It can take anywhere from a week to a month.

Also it would be helpful to know - was the person that referred you a partner/senior partner? Do you go to a target school and have a strong GPA? Are you an otherwise strong candidate for the role?

Usually takes more than one week. Wait 2 full weeks (or 3 weeks) until you ask for an update.
