I recently joined BCG as a consultant and started the Entry Level Skills Training (new joiner training). I have a sneaking suspecion that the training session is evaluative but can't find any definite proof. Can any previous Pricipals from BCG confirm that this session is indeed evaluative and can impact my first case selection?

Is BCG's ELST evaluative?

No, it's not evaluative. Unless you do something morally bad or unprofessional.... or save someone from an oncoming truck and earn some goodwill.... it makes 0 difference. New consultants are often not billed on the first case anyway (new associates almost never are).
It is a place to build relationships, of course, which can help with staffing - but honestly, Partners, Principals, and PLs are never going to go out on a limb for you because they liked you from ELST. No one is evaluating your skills, period.
(I've helped run some ELST's)
