hello,

what happens when two predators have the same caloric output? how do they feast on their prey?

I've read on a guide and only the situation was mentioned where the preyed upon species had the same output and thus both were eaten 50% resp.

Hey there,

This should not occur in the Imbellus as others already have pointed out.

Cheers,

Hi there,

I love these types of Q&As because it just emphasizes the fact that no matter how much we try to game the system and memorize things, MBB are always throwing curve balls :)

Hence why we need to prepare for what we expect but also prepare and be ready for the unexpected!

I haven't seen this occur before, but my solution here would be to make sure that species combo can feed them. It doesn't matter who eats first as long as the total prey calories are enough (assuming they share the same prey)

Hi there,

Q: What happens when two predators have the same caloric output? how do they feast on their prey?

I guess by “caloric output” you mean calories provided. Theoretically they would eat at the same time their respective food sources.

Best,

Francesco

Hello,

I doubt that this might happen since the rule is not even mentioned in the guideline. Nonetheless, check their food sources first, if they are not the same, the sequence won't make a difference.

I hope this is helpful

Bit late but this happened to me and I took it yesterday. I was completely confused for 5 minutes but switched it up

Hi! I had this exact same question when preparing for Imbellus which I just took recently. After checking with several people for their insight, the best clarification I could find was that there is indeed no rule provided by McKinsey regarding that case, and thus we can suspect that it would be a very rare occurrence. It indeed did not occur during my game. Good luck!
