Not necessarily, they might have delays with their screening process due to upcoming holidays or uncertainty on their project pipeline.

2) In general how are the interview divided, would all the first round interviews be done on one day?

Usually first-round interviews are on the same day, but there are exceptions.

if you desired start date was January, I think it is pretty clear that this is very unlikely to happen at this point. However, the recruiting process might happen in January, i.e. your potential interviews

• no feedback does not mean automatic rejection - but of course the longer it takes for them to get back to a candidate, the “less important” that candidate is for them. There are cases where even after several weeks, candidates received a positive response - so there is always that
• in general 2 rounds - each round happens on a different day. All interviews within one round happen on the same day. This might vary by region though (just a disclaimer)

Keep applying to other firms so you don't have your efforts stopped by any one company not replying to you for a while.

Hi there!

It's normal for it to take a few weeks before they get back to you. 

At this point, since most offices are ramping down for the winter holidays, I would be expecting an answer by mid-Jan. 

It's rather ambitious to expect to have the interviews and start the role in the same month. Most of the time there are at least a few months in between, so I wouldn't rely on that happening.
