the sooner the better ? or i can do it anytime before the 10 days?
some peaple are telling me that doing it late will give you a disadvantage or even they will send you an email that you didnt attempt it on the timeline..

You can do it anytime in the period they mentioned. I would do the test once you feel ready.

Feel free to do it at any point until the deadline. What matters is the result, not when you actually did it. If I were you, I'd try to practice as much as possible before the actual deadline. There are several guides online that will help you get an accurate understanding of what to expect in the game.

It's not about when you do it but how well. If when you did it made a difference they would tell you in the email they sent.

These people are wrong! As long as you do it within 10 days it doesn't matter when you do it!
Highly recommend you use practice material (like Francesco's Imbellus guide) to optimize your chances.
