I recently applied to BCG ME and received a pymetrics test which I just completed. I have a few questions:
1. Is this an eliminative test or just given to assess personality?
2. If it is eliminative and If one is able to pass the test, what happens next? - Is there a casey chat bot round or actual case interview rounds?

1. The Pymetrics test is usually used in combination with the resume screening to give better insight into your personality profile. In itself, it is not used to eliminate candidates. If you are rejected it is because of a combination of resume + test.
2. Usually, if you pass the screening, you would move on to Casey first. If that is positive, the interviews follow.

Yes and no. Your entire application (resume, referral, profile, office, etc.) is reviewed hollistically.

You are most likely to get case chat bot, but that is not always the case.
My advice is to case prep (though you should already be at 80% case ready before you apply). If/when you get the chatbot, your case prep will have helped you make the hard yards for the test.
The Most Common Pitfalls in Case Interview Preparation
My other advice is to apply to other firms! Never put all your hopes on just one :)

Most offices use the test in combination with the review of your application docs (CV, Cover Letter, referral if applicable). Then, based on all these inputs, they decide whether to move you forward.
Depending on the office you're applying for, you should receive Casey soon as well.
