Q: I am wondering whether my 3 years experiences and MiM degree from top 5 London uni is enough to apply to MBB office in Jakarta or Dubai. 

I guess you mean if it is enough to be considered for an interview.

The probability of passing the screening depends on your full profile so it is difficult to comment without more information. In terms of the position to target, with your experience the level should be BA or Senior BA at McKinsey and Associate/Senior Associate at BCG/Bain.

Now, to maximize your odds, you need to:

1. Get your resume as strong as possible
2. Get some “quick” consulting-related experience
3. Get a strong cover letter
4. Network a ton and look to get a referral

It is certainly enough to apply, though I suggest seeking a referral for your application.

The position you are considered for depends on how strong and relevant your profile is. The HR may choose to either downgrade or upgrade the position to match your actual experience.

The position you are offered, in addition to your profile's strength, also depends on your actual interview performance (case + fit) and the overall seniority level that you demonstrate.

I used work in BCG SEA.

You could definitely apply for Jakarta office, but my POV is that you will be slotted in at the Associate role and not a Senior Associate role.

Sure you can apply! For McKinsey you could try to apply to Senior Business Analyst or Junior Associate (a bit tight but might work in some offices).
