Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of launching a student-run investment consulting company that offers guidance to students and young professionals on how to invest their first money and build financial literacy. Since we're modeling some of our services on real consulting practices, I wanted to ask the community:
- How are typical consulting meetings (especially 1-on-1s) structured?
- Is there a client-facing framework or flow you recommend for guiding conversations?
- How do you translate strategy into simple, actionable advice — especially for clients with little to no background?
- What is the most important thing to deliver in a first 30-minute consulting call to make a strong impression and build trust?
- Any tips on how to build long-term trust and engagement in an advisory format?
- Any advice you think could help me...
I’d really appreciate any insights.
Thanks in advance!
