What sort of exit opportunities are there from EY-Parthenon?

I have an offer to join out of undergrad - I was wondering what sort of exit options there are, and whether a lateral transfer to MBB would be possible later on/post-MBA?

Hi,

Very similar to any other consulting company:

  • F500 companies - general manager roles, analytics, project management
  • Tech - bizops, strategy
  • Other consulting companies (incl MBB)

Hello!

it is, but if it´s your goal, why not trying directly?

Now you know that you are good at casing and interviewing, leverage it! :)

Good luck! :)

I have already graduated, and don't really want to put off starting a proper graduate job for much longer (currently working in a large international organisation, concluded it wasn't for me). Do you think it would be worth starting at Parthenon and applying to MBB when the associate/BA opportunities application season reopens (next autumn - this time I got to final round BCG and then was rejected)? I also made this unclear in my question - I don't necessarily want to move to MBB, but it is an option I'm considering - generally more interested in what the exit options are like at Parthenon! — Anonymous A on Jan 16, 2020

Hi,

Congrats for the offer! Yes, transer to MBB is possible, but if it's your current goal I recommend to spend an extra effort to try with all of them. MBA, Fortune500 and every client EY has are other common exit opportunities.

Best,

Antonello

Cutting Carbs - Divestiture in the Electrical Power Market

Solved 1.8k times
Cutting Carbs - Divestiture in the Electrical Power Market Our client is Energy England, one of northern England’s largest electric utility companies. They were created over the past decade through an aggressive series of mergers of existing utility companies each specializing in a single energy generation source. Recently, the CEO has embarked on an initiative to return to the core of the business. She is looking to increase free cash flow and cash reserves in order to prepare the business for evolving future trends.   The following can be verbally provided to interviewee if asked: Energy England is made up of assets across the energy-generation space. These include coal, gas, nuclear, and wind We are looking to divest from just one of our previous acquisitions (i.e one target is sufficient) There are no specific goals/metrics – the client trusts our judgement
