Hello!

What do you mean with "referral track"?

This totally depends on the office, but if you mean that you have been directly referred to HR by someone you know (ish) should be quite fast, less than 2 weeks.

If you don´t hear by then, reach out to the referrer.

Hope it helps!

Cheers,

Clara

Hi there,

It is difficult to predict exactly, as it depends on the office needs and recruiting pipeline. In general, I would expect a range between a few days and 4 weeks.

If you have not heard anything after 4 weeks, you can reach out to your contact or HR with the excuse that you want to check if they received everything correctly.

Best,

Francesco

Hi, it usually requires up to 1 month. However, I suggest after a couple of weeks to text/call HR without worrying about bothering them. They are there to help

#1 BCG coach | MBB | Tier 2 | Digital, Tech, Platinion | 100% personal success rate (8/8) | 95% candidate success rate

Hi there,

It could take a few days (especially if referred) and up to even a few months.

Generally I advice candidates to be about 80% case ready when they apply.

Good luck!

Hey there,

Good answers here already. I'd like to add that from experience with my coachees, MBB these days are answering very quickly and are trying to schedule interviews asap since they all have a high demand for candidates.

McKinsey expects to hire more candidates this year than ever before and recruiting is in full swing. Hence, be prepared when sending your application.

Cheers,

Florian
