Hi all, I'm wondering what would be the common case types of written cases? Based on my understanding, most are investment or M&A type of cases. Is this correct?

None. Please don't go in “expecting” things. You need to be prepared for anything. Learn how to think and approach written cases in general and then you'll be prepared no matter what happens!

Sure, most of the written cases I've seen have been M&A or investment, but just be careful with this approach/way of thinking!

Not necessarily, written cases can also cover other topics depending on the company & role you applied for. So, adapt your preparation to the firm/role and make sure to discuss details with HR.

Hello!

Not at all! It can be anything actually, is just the format what changes.

Not really. I've seen all type of written cases. There are even supply chain, IT, etc. type of written cases - for candidates recruiting for roles that are related to those fields.
