I've conducted 100+ case interviews throughout my career in consulting both as a candidate and as an interviewer. My experience ranges both in the format of the interview (i.e., behavioral or “fit”, case, presentation, etc.) and in the type of candidate (i.e., Campus Hire, External Hire, etc.).
Philosophy: Top-tier consulting firm interviews seek to answer two questions. First, is this candidate capable of doing the work? Second, is this someone I would like to work with?
Candidates often fail to secure offers by focusing on answering only of of these questions.
