I joined McKinsey in New York as a Business Analyst, and after being recognized as a top 5% performer every review cycle, I was promoted to Engagement Manager faster than anyone in McK NY's history.
But for me, success was not always guaranteed - my personal experience includes 62 rejections for my first 62 interviews. Although I was getting interviews I was unable to convert them into offers.
Since then, I pivoted my approach and secured 12 / 12 offers including: McKinsey, BCG, Goldman, Stanford GSB, HBS, Citi, MIT Sloan.
To share my learnings I led McKinsey's Penn recruiting team and mentored 50+ students over 200+ cases.
