   • If you stay in your current firm vs shifting to another firm, will you be able to also get to a similar role?
   • If stay in your current role's progression, is that progression something that aligns with what you want to achieve/build in the next couple of years?
   • If you switch to an account manager, what does the progression look like and how does that align with what you want?
3. Salary
   • Important not only to consider the current salary, but also the future potential salary trajectory at both options

Lastly, I would encourage you to try and talk to actual account managers at the firm you would want to move to. This will give you a better idea of the role and help you make a clearer decision.

In terms of a thinking framework, if I were you I'd try to visualise where I'd want to be in 5-10 years time and see which of the two options is more aligned with my goals.

It would be irresponsible of us to tell you what to do with such little information!

You have to make this decision. Now, for such an important career decision, why not invest in a career coach to make sure it's the right one. Instead of eating out 2 nights or spending 1 night in a hotel, you could hire 1 hour of a coach to make sure you're making the right life/career decision that would affect you for years to come….makes sense to me!

Now, how can you decide for yourself?

Figure out what you want/value. Is it money, prestige, work-life balance, career progression, learning & development, culture, etc.? Once you've figured out the most important things to you, then compare the offers!
