I applied to Oliver Wyman Middle East (Consultant position) through a referral and I received an email from them asking me to complete an assessment on “evaluating your ability to solve business problems, analyze information, and interpret the source data.” as they mentioned in the email.
Does anyone have insights any on the test?

Yes, this is the typical test that most firms send out as a second stage in the recruitment process after the CV/application screening and before the first interview round.
The test differs in format and content from firm to firm, but most of them are a combination of SAT questions, logical/inductive reasoning questions and business situations (where you either have to calculate or interpret a graph).
Google around for some OW specific examples. Feel free to also reach out and I share a few examples from different firms so you know what to expect in terms of format.
The important thing to know here is that this is a skill that you can practice. The more practice you put in, the better your score will be. So don't be discouraged by your starting point, stay positive and work on getting better.

This sounds like a “classic” online assessment. Most of these are quite similar.
The best way is to really find online tests / questions and practice. Regardless as to whether is a new or old test, the principles are mostly the same:
Think of it as a merge of a case and the GMAT/GRE.
You need to be clear on some key case-related and account formulas (margin, growth, breakeven, etc) as well as be good at critically understanding the question (including nuance to questions) and parsing through complicated text with a fair amount of distraction.
You'll also need to be good at chart/graph reading.
The (old) McKinsey PST, BCG Online Test, Bain SOVA test, etc. are all quite similar so leverage resources across all of them.
