So, I know most firms ask for a fee (investment) to buy into the partnership. I've never heard anyone speak frankly about how this works:

- how much is typically asked for?

- does this vary as to whether it is a REAL partnership vs. Inc./PLC?

- what's the typical ROI? I presume this is declining?

Hi,

The cost will be very depends on the firm. However, usually the firm will give you a soft loan that will be paid by your revenue in the future.

Unfortunately, the exact number will be very unlikely to be available publicly.

Best,

Iman

An interesting question, but I'm not sure that this kind of information is to be revealed anywhere on the Internet and here as well, sorry.

Cheers,

thanks for the insight. I was told by a drunk Deloitte Partner that it cost him $180k, but I've heard from others it can go up to $600k.

This really is not appropriate to share for a number of reasons. I would remove this comment if I were you.

Ah Ian, I'm a fan of the truth! I won't mention his name of course. Though he was ginger.....

Hi Joe,

This is a great question, but unfortunately one I'd be surprised if you found an answer to here! (Or anywhere publicly for that matter).

I would not divulge! That's what I mean...I know the ranges, but it's not my place to share this information.

Hello!

You will never find an "official" source revealing this! Only in informal talks with actual consultants.

Cheers,
