Hi Guys,
I am currently applying to an UX/UI position here at PrepLounge.
For a test-task I was asked to suggest an improved design for the Q&A Section. Therefore I need your help:
Do you have some features you have a gripe on? Some things you would like to see improved?
Or maybe do you have features you really like, which should stay?
Would love to see your opinions on that.

Hi Eugen,

Good idea to look for some customer feedback here :) (I assume the PL team is ok with you doing this, else you wouldn't have posted)

One suggestion I have is it would be helpful to have some way of seeing which questions you have viewed or answered already when scrolling through the Q&A section (without you needing to click on it to read the full question / see whether you have responded there). Maybe some sort of ‘viewed’ or ‘responded’ flag would be helpful.

Another suggestion would be, we currently get an email notification if anyone has commented on our responses, but we do not see the text of the comment in the email notification. It just says something like “X has commented on your response”. Perhaps it would be helpful to see the text of the comment in the email too.

Hi Eugen!

I'm pretty sure Preplounge would want you suggesting this yourself…

It's important as a product develper to be able to identify issues with a UX/UI on your own, without customer feedback (first).

I'm happy to make suggestions here, but only if Preplounge confirms you're allowed to do this research here (which I lean towards thinking they would prefer you came up with the better UI/UX on your own!)

Hi Ian, You're right. And I did make a list of issues I found. Normaly the next step would be to conduct a few user Interviews to assess my assumtions, get to know the needs of the userbase and find out things I didn't think about. As this was time sensitive and I didn't have enough time for interviews, I did the next best thing. 😊 Thank you for your answers and your help.
