Is there anyone knowing if McKinsey Dubai office is still using the classic (old style) PST or have they already moved to the online SHL maths and verbal tests like many other locations?

I believe McKinsey has not moved onto using SHL to replace the PST - they have just started using it as an additional pre-screen before inviting candidates to do the PST.
I also know some close friends that took the PST for McKinsey Dubai recently, although they did say it felt easier than the one for the London office (could just perception).

SHL test is NOT the new type that is replacing PST. SHL tests are used by some McKinsey subsidiaries (like some New Venture companies) to sort out the candidates.
Thus if you are applying for a generalist role even in Dubai office you will have a classic PST
