I read that Oliver Wyman and Strategy& both send you online assessments (numerical, verbal reasoning etc) but I have also read that they sometimes conduct quick phone interviews before inviting you to the case interview. I am looking for clairficafion on the step process for this specially in London. Will I receive online tests (and if so which ones?) or just phone interviews or both for O.W and Strategy&?

My candidates who have applied for London for these firms received tests.
Even so, these processes change quite often so I wouldn't rely on hearsay. Instead, contact the recruiter and ask them about the process. That's what they're there for and they are the only ones who have the latest, more transparent understanding of the recruitment funnel.
And needless to say, keep on applying to other roles in the meantime. You need to diversify as much as possible. Pasting below a guide you might find useful if you are at the application stage:

It honestly depends, but, you should expect to receive an online assessment and prepare accordingly. Ultimately, they will let you know.
You should continue your case prep as you wait, as these skills prepare you for these tests.
I have coached candidates for both firms, and I have usually seen applicants get the test first (no initial phone interview). They might be conducting phone interviews earlier this season for various reasons like trying to triage earlier as anecdotally I am aware it is much more competitive this season.
