Advanced degree candidate (MD) from a target medical school for Mck and BCG applying to full-time positions for campus hire in the United States. Most of the deadlines I noticed span from mid June to mid July. When should I expect to hear back from the firms (if I do at all) for interview related news post deadline?
Deadline to interview timeline

Hi there,
While it does depend on the company/channel, you should expect to hear within a few weeks.
So, you should be ready to interview by mid-July.
I always advise my candidates to aim to be 80% case ready before they submit their applications. Things can move quick!

Hi there,
There's no fixed date that's set for this communication.
As a range, you can expect to hear back in 1-6 weeks. Anything beyond that means that they didn't select your profile.
Regardless, I'd still check in with them if 4 weeks have passed by and you haven't heard back. Send them a polite note and ask about the progress of your application.
In the meantime, keep on applying - that's what I always tell candidates. You can leverage the guide below for a step-by-step approach to how to build an application strategy:

Hi there,
depends on the office, but usually within a few weeks. Especially true when it's campus recruiting (like your case), as the firms typically have to stick to a recruiting timeline they agreed with the schools.
Hope this helps.

Hi there,
Q: When should I expect to hear back from the firms (if I do at all) for interview related news post deadline?
It depends on the office, but I would expect a range between 1 week and 1 month after the deadline. If you don’t hear by then, you can follow up with HR to ask for an update.
Good luck!
Francesco
