Applying for 2 similar positions at 2 different offices at McKinsey

• While you might apply for different roles at the same time, after the screening phase, McKinsey will steer the application process towards one single role.
• Normally, they will decide for you what would be the best-fitting role. As such, your chances will not increase except for maybe the screening phase.

Hi there, 

You cannot formally interview for two positions in parallel within McKinsey or most other firms. 

Even if you are technically able to pass screening for both of them, it's mostly because the database is not integrated across the offices. Once they figure it out they will ask you to progress with only one. 

My suggestion would be to focus instead only on the role that you are most attracted to and feel you're a better fit for.

You *can* apply, but just check what makes sense for you. You need to reach out to HR and have discussions with them to see where they see you fitting. You also need to make sure that you can see yourself in that role + office. But, yes, you *can* apply.

McKinsey Middle East recruiting and hiring is done centrally so it would make no sense to apply again for the same position in a different office!
