I have worked at both Bain and BCG and been on the interviewee and interviewer side for both companies so I believe I have a strong grasp of what the interviewers are looking for. I have also done this successfully in the USA (with Bain) and in Thailand (with BCG) so I have a good grasp of what works in different geographies as well.
I don't believe the path to success is defined by simply memorising frameworks so will work with each person on their individual strengths to come up with the best strategy for them. One of my biggest strengths is communication so I place a lot of emphasis on good, structured communication for both fit and case interviews.
During a coaching session with me, we'll spend 10-15 minutes going through fit questions, 20-25 minutes on a case that is based on a real project I worked on with BCG and then 20-30 minutes on feedback. I make sure to leave a lot of time for detailed feedback because I think this where the most learning will come from.
