About 90% of the people I helped received an offer from either Bain & Company, McKinsey, BCG, AlixPartners, or Kearney.
I also personally got offers from each of the top three consulting firms and AlixPartners and several mid-cap private equity funds.
I help candidates achieve clarity of thoughts, communicate with crisp sentences, and solve problems by providing practical and coherent solutions.
I challenge candidates to be fact-based, back up their statements, be organized, communicate effectively (with clarity, brevity, and assertiveness), and have a clear plan in mind.
Spending money on a coaching session should be an opportunity for you to improve your thinking process, your business acumen, and your ability to cope with stress. For that reason, I provide no-nonsense practical feedback you can exploit in both your case interviews and your workdays.
Your session with me will be unlike any other session you have with other coaches - who typically never selected candidates in a real interview or who just mechanically focus on structuring a tree because they do not have a clue on how businesses work. With me you will focus on thinking from first principles, thinking backward, investigating root causes of a problem, and learning something on business you can exploit in your entire life. Remember: interviewers want to hire candidates who have business sense, are proactive, disciplined, able to think from first principles, able to come up with creative solutions.
During the mock interview, we can go through each part of the application process:
- Fit questions (10 mins at most)
- Case resolution (45 mins, of which 10 mins spent on feedback and action plan for improvement)
- Questions from the candidate (5 mins)
I always share material, summary, and to-dos at the end of each session. Indeed, I encourage you to be disciplined in the case interview preparation process. One of the reasons why my coachees have such a high success rate is because I push them to do things that others don't do.
