Hi! I was wondering if you have an exhaustive list of all of the resources that would be available for me to prepare for the OW Numerical + Competency Test. I heard it is similar to GMAT, but was wondering if PrepLounge has any prepared materials that I can use, I would also appreciate any list of any other websites as well. Thanks so much!
Oliver Wyman Numerical Reasoning + Competency Test

hey there!
the OW test is indeed somewhat GMAT-style, especially the numerical part, with a mix of math, logic, and reading comprehension.
- While PrepLounge is primarily case-focused, you can still use:
- The “Case Math” section: quick mental math drills
- Market sizing practice
- Community Q&A for tips on OW test structure and recent experiences
other resources I recommend
- JobTestPrep – Offers tailored Oliver Wyman-style practice packs (numerical + verbal + situational judgment)
- AssessmentDay – Great for SHL-style numerical reasoning, which is similar to OW’s format
- Practice Aptitude Tests (by Graduates First) – Free and paid tests for numerical, logical, and verbal reasoning
- GMAT Club (Quant Section) – Use it for math-heavy practice
- MConsultingPrep – Has a paid section for general aptitude prep and test-taking tips
- Talent Q / Korn Ferry-style tests – Sometimes relevant for OW's psychometric components
What I would Practice Specifically
- Interpreting tables, charts, and graphs quickly
- Ratio, percentage, and data sufficiency questions
- Time management — you often get ~60 seconds per question
- For the competency part: prep structured answers to common behavioral questions (e.g., teamwork, problem-solving, leadership)
Hope that helps!

Good luck!

No exhaustive list here, but I do have an exhaustive list of the common terms that show up in case interviews. It might come in handy. Here it is:
