No response from Mckinsey

Hello,

I applied via Mckinsey website for the Mckinsey Digital Associate role more than a month ago and I have done the solve assessment (1 month ago). My profile still shows in progress. The only email I received was to update my legal information which is generic (i think everyone receives same email). Do you advice that I reach out? What should be my next line of action

Yes, if a full month has passed, I would highly advise you to check on the status of your application. As long as you haven't received a rejection, please remember that you have not been rejected.

Given that it's been a month or so since your SOLVE assessment, it won't hurt to reach out to the recruiting team to ask about the status of your application. In both the best and worst case scenario, you'll be able to gain clarity on what the next steps for you are.

It is true that it is not unusual for there to be gaps of a month or more in between stages and communication in the recruiting journey.

McKinsey's recruitment process can take time, but since it’s been over a month, it’s reasonable to follow up. Send an email to recruiting team inquiring about your application status.

At the moment, I see significant delays across the board in the region, not just at McKinsey. Still, after this much time I would definitely reach out to HR to clarify the status of the application as well as the expected timeline for your own planning.
