How do I show this in my CV

• Moreover, if you feel strongly that you don't want to include this work experience, just don't. You will most likely still be asked about the gap in your resume, and you will eventually have to tell about this work experience, but if that is what you prefer, then do it. I would still have advised you to include it in your resume and just not go into too much detail about it when you introduce yourself.

You should be transparent in your CV as it might work against you if you aren't. Mention the above, include that you worked for that company. However, make a note under that when working in that role you 'voiced your concerns about the ethicality of the firm' and was subsequently laid off. Mention that you were a top performer. No company/employer will look down on your for holding the moral high-ground, especially if you were performing in that firm.

Leaving it out and having such a huge gap in your CV timeline may raise more questions and you may find it difficult to explain your way out of that vs leaving it there and describing it in a positive and beneficial way to you. 

I would keep it and would definitely mention that I was a top performer there for sure. Be ready to explain why you left though, in case it comes up.
