My session with Eugene was incredible helpful and I came out of feeling I could work on and overcome my weaknesses efficiently. Before our session, Eugene reached out to learn more about myself and what I expect to gain from the session. When our session started, we spent some more time discussing where I was in the preparation/ application stage, if there were any specific areas I wanted help with. Before Eugene gave me a case, he also mentioned he is flexible with time and that is absolutely true. We ran over and he was willing to ensure that he was able to give all the feedback regardless of the time. He gave me a firm-specific case which is what I had hoped for. After the case, he gave detailed feedback about each of the components along with actionable items- which is incredibly helpful and refreshing instead of just saying do 'xxxx'. He also offered to hop on a short call later to go over the fit portion since we didn't cover that during our case session. So to reiterate, not only is he extremely generous with time, but he wants to help you be at your most confident/ best form going into the interview!

I just had a session with Eugene and it was nothing short of AMAZING. We did a full mock interview consisting of 2 behavioral fit questions and a case, and it was by far the most helpful prep session ever. Some elements that really made Eugene stand out as a great mentor: 1. He gives top tier fit feedback that I doubt you’d get from most other coaches. His experience as an ex-BCG project lead really shines through here as he was able to easily pinpoint weaknesses/issues with my stories and make great suggestions on how to reframe them so they resonate more with interviewers. I now know how to properly structure my stories and have no doubt that my stories will be top notch once I incorporate his feedback. 2. He is able to point out casing nuances that will really bring your casing to the next level. I had extensive casing experience from a previous MBB attempt 2 years ago, and Eugene was able to find a ton of small improvement areas that I wouldn’t have otherwise thought of, like how to phrase certain parts, etc. I will definitely try to incorporate these tweaks into my practice and am confident that I will be much more refined than I was 2 years ago. 3. He is very warm, friendly, and super generous with his time. He took time out of his busy schedule to have a long-ish intro call with me prior to the session where he already started giving me tips, woke up early to have the session, and even spent almost 2 hours in the session to make sure that I received all the feedback and all my questions were answered. I could feel that he is genuinely interested in my success. Without a doubt, Eugene is one of, if not THE best case coach out there. I would 100% recommend him to anyone applying to MBB or any of the other firms.
