Hello,
I am a junior consultant at a Big 4 digital transformation practice (non-strategy) with 2.5 years of experience.
I might not get my promotion next year due to conflicts at work and some mental health issues that are now being resolved.
I applied to a European McKinsey office 2.5 years ago and passed the screening, as I come from a target school and had extracurriculars that helped me stand out, in addition to being from a foreign country. However, I didn’t pass the first round at that time, I wasn’t ready.
This year, I feel it’s my best chance to apply again for a Business Analyst or Pre-Associate position. I am practicing case studies seriously, and preparing to put myself in the best position possible (networking etc.)
What are my chances to pass the screening if I apply in the next couple of months ? I feel like I have to do something extraordinarily to pass the screening again because this time I am no longer the fresh graduate with the perfect CV.
Of course, I will also consider MBB and other strategy firms.
Thank you.
