Kearney Middle East Process

Hi guys, I have had my screening call with Kearney more than 7 weeks ago, but never heard back from then since then. I have also contacted the HR about a month ago and they said will contact me soon for an interview. Right now, no one in the HR is replying. What should I do?

This happens sometimes.

Most likely, it means that they're swamped at the moment and it's not a priority for them to get back to everybody on time.

For now I would just wait on this one.

In the meantime though, continue applying to other roles. Don't depend on just one thing. Seek to diversify.

Here's a guide that explains how to build an application strategy that helps you maximise the probability of getting at least one offer:

Best,
Cristian

Hi there,

Q: I have had my screening call with Kearney more than 7 weeks ago, but never heard back from then since then. What should I do?

I would recommend the following:

  1. Call HR and ask for an update
  2. Continue the process with the other firms

The best way to have leverage with a follow-up is to have another offer, so unfortunately until that’s the case there is no much you can do.

Good luck!

Francesco

Hi,

One month is a fairly long time indeed. There are 2 things you can do:

  1. Follow-up directly with HR
  2. Follow-up through a network/contact within the firm

I would suggest doing both, if you already have a network or know someone in the firm - this is often the most helpful and impactful way (based on my experience).

FYI - the interview process for Kearney ME is still on going, I know this from some candidates I am helping now.

Hi there,

After this time, it is fair that you kindly and professionally reach out again to your HR contact to set up expectations.

In parallel, I suggest that you keep working on your application strategy and network / apply to other firms to diversity risk.

Good luck!

Alberto

Hi there,

I recently had a candidate interviewing with Kearney ME. He made it through four rounds, however each round took a month or more to schedule (entire process 4-5 months).

One: They don't seem to be on top of the ball

Two: No answer generally means no interest (sorry)

What you should do: Network with and apply to a ton of other firms!

Hi,

I think you should contact HR again and ask kindely if they have any new information concerning your application. After one month it's totally logical and show that you're serious about your application.

Cheers,

Alexandre

Kearney in ME is a bit chaotic these days. My coachee received twice already in the process accidentally wrong e-mails (like you passed the round congrats although he did not have the interview yet etc.). So definitely reach out to HR. Good luck! Frederic

Hi,

To me it seems, unfortunately, that your profile is not a priority for them right now. I would try and find somebody within the firm to nudge the HR about your application. In the meantime, continue applying to other firms.

Good luck!
Nick
