Hello,
The assessment went absolutely horribly - finished it in 13 minutes over the allotted time with at least 4 missed on the math section and 2 on the logical, while the verbal was extremely easy.
Will my CV even be looked at?

Hi there,
I am sorry to hear that your test did not go well!
Unfortunately, we can not predict if they will look at your CV. However, you may still have chances to be invited for an interview (+ you probably have other application processes in place) so I would focus on:
- Preparing as well as possible for Case and PSI interview
- In case you still have other firms' tests, thinking about the mistakes you have done in the Bain test and adjusting your preparation (was it because you were not good at managing time? because your stress level was too high and you could not think clearly? did you have problems with specific type of questions?)
I know it is hard not to worry in this situation, but unfortunately worrying will not help you in any way. Identify the mistakes, work on them and put a big effort on the interview preparation!
Wish you the best of luck,
Francesca
Hello,
The probability of getting invited to an interview also depends on how strong and relevant your profile is and on the company's current staffing needs.
Although I agree with Ian here: no point in beating yourself up about it, you'll learn the results soon. Better focus on the things you can control, such as how you can improve before the next interviews.
Good luck!
Nick
Sorry to hear but indeed keep calm and worry about things you have control over. Worst case apply at BCG and McK ;-)
Hi there,
You'll get the answer when you get the answer.
Try to think about things that you have control over.
If you did very poorly on the exam you are unlikely to be invited. If you did “ok” on the exam and come from a target school, having networked well, and with a strong resume, you can still be invited.
Hi there!
Sorry to hear the test didn't go as hoped.
That can always happen. And don't assume that all is lost. Most likely they will still review the rest of your application and make a decision based on all the inputs (CV, cover letter, referrals, etc.).
In the meantime, already start thinking about other applications that you could send out. The most important thing is to diversify your risk across multiple applications. Here's a guide that breaks down in detail how to do this and maximise your chances of getting at least one offer:
Best,
Cristian

Hi there,
There is still a chance you get invited to the process. Recruiters consider your application as a whole, not only the test.
In any case, I suggest you start working on a broader application strategy with more firms to mitigate risks.
Good luck!
Alberto
