I am looking for mim programs in Eu that will help me break into mbb/big4 strategy/management consulting.

Want to work in Middle east/Singapore/Honk Kong or any location where English is primarily used as a business language.

Im currently a ug student at a top ranked Indian school . So if I maintain my grades , have good extra curriculars and have a 730+ gmat I am sure I will get into any mim program.

Hi Satyaki,

Q: Best Mim program for management consulting?

I would recommend the following:

  1. Go to LinkedIn
  2. Look for consultants and alumni of your target companies in your target regions
  3. Check the schools they attended
  4. Find the schools with the highest number of consultants/alumni
  5. Normalize the results for the cohort size of the schools

This should help to have a data-driven answer.

Good luck!

Francesco

Hi there, you can check it with the same method explained above, that should give you a proper data-driven answer. Good luck!

#1 McKinsey Coach by rating & recommendation rate

Hi there,

Aside from the ones mentioned already, I'd also recommend IESE. I've worked with several candidates from there and they have a great structure to their program - really rooted in live practice. All the students I've encountered from there were happy with it.

Best,
Cristian

Dear,

Great question! As always, there is no single answer to this question. Each academic experience is unique and has its own nuances on the side that make the candidate more or less attractive to a strategy consulting firm.

As a general context, large consulting firms such as McKinsey are increasingly focusing on diverse profiles to bring that diversity to team life that maximizes the results and quality offered to their clients.

However, getting more concrete and looking at where many of my colleagues come from, I would keep the following business schools on the radar in your particular case:

  • London Business School (United Kingdom)
  • HEC Paris (France)
  • ESSEC Business School (France)

As a next step, I would suggest reaching out to some alumni who did a similar path in the past. You can easily conduct this research through LinkedIn.

Hope it was helpful :) Feel free to DM me to bring the conversation further

Hi there,

If you're interested in ME/Singapore/HK and English-based locations, then you will likely want to lean towards the MiMs in the UK (LSE, LBS, Imperail etc.).

Ultimately, you should apply to a bunch of the top 10-20 ones (as many as you can/want to to go) and see how the cards fall. From there you can make the decision!

You have to look into top 10 business schools in europe that have a significant number of non-european students (particularly coming from Asia). To be honest, top 2-3 programs in the UK (now outside EU…) could be your best option.
