My coaching approach is as follows:
1. Empathetic and non-judgmental
Coming from an Liberal Arts background, I know how daunting case interviews can be! However, this experience means that I take a non-judgmental approach to preparing you for the case - no matter what your background. I can help you think through the basics of the case, all the way through to helping you get that final polish on your answers. I take this same approach with PEI (personal experience interviews) as well. My goal is to help you be as prepared and as ready as you can be!
2. Practice makes perfect
The cases and PEI interviews may seem challenging at first - but as with anything, practice makes perfect. I would absolutely suggest that we perform at least one case and one PEI interview together, and I believe more than one coaching session will better set you up for success - but that is completely up to you! I will also suggest which areas you should focus on and practice outside of the session in your own time.
3. Outcome focused
After spending three years at McKinsey, I have coached ~40 different applicants, and successfully coached a number of them to final offer. I really am invested in you succeeding, and working together to achieve that is an amazing experience for both of us!
