Hi,
I know this question has been asked a lot. I have a meeting with a senior manager at Bain in the next few hours and I would like to know what some good questions could be asked.
Your help is much appreciated.
Thank you

Hello!
Congrats on that conversation, it can really be a good way to get your foot on the door.
The best way to prep for those networking calls is to prep for FIT, particularly 2 of the 4 types of family questions: Intro and CV questions and Behavioral question.
If you want to deep dive on the topic, the "Integrated FIT guide for MBB" has been recently published in PrepLounge´s shop (https://www.preplounge.com/en/shop/tests-2/integrated-fit-guide-for-mbb-34)
It provides an end-to-end preparation for all three MBB interviews, tackling each firms particularities and combining key concepts review and a hands-on methodology. Following the book, the candidate will prepare his/her stories by practicing with over 50 real questions and leveraging special frameworks and worksheets that guide step-by-step, developed by the author and her experience as a Master in Management professor and coach. Finally, as further guidance, the guide encompasses over 20 examples from real candidates.
Furthermore, you can find 3 FREE Expert Articles on PreLounge, in a sreies dedicated to preparing for the different parts of FIT:

Hope it helps!
Whatever you're genuinely interested in, really.
Don't phrase super original questions as a way to impress the Senior Manager, which is what people often do without really being interested in the answer.
Just make sure you always have a positive undertone e.g. don't ask about how people feel about the most recent leaks about firm x serving a questionable client etc.
Hope this helps a bit. Best of luck for your talk!
Hi there,
It's a cool question even though it's been asked before.
Be humble and curious - ask them - ‘I’m at the beginning of my consulting journey and I believe I have a lot to learn from somebody like you. What if the one piece of advice you'd have for somebody like me to have a strong start / successful career in this industry?'
Hi there,
First piece of advice, probably plan a bit more in advance! Asking an online Q&A a few hours before probably won't help too much!
In general, you can ask about them, the firm, etc. Ask thoughtful, insightful, and genuine questions. Additionally, try not to just rattle off a list of questions, but rather ask follow-ups to their answers (think about how David Frost, Mike Wallace, Letterman, Oprah etc. interview/ed)
