How much does a McKinsey experienced hire make if they are coming in on a more focused track at the partner level. I’ve been asked to consider it by a partner, but I’m not so sure what to expect. Love the work that the firm does as we have utilized them before. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I recommend you to look for this kind of information in Glassdoor, Redit, Quora, Glassdoor, Salary.com, PayScale, Monster and other similar forums. See that the most significant part of your compensation will be the bonus, not the salary.

Total compensation, including bonuses and stock, can be significantly higher, potentially exceeding $1 million according to management consultants. Associate Partners, Junior Partners, and Senior Partners fall within the $300k-$650k range in base salary, with further variation in total compensation. "
