PSG results

Question

I got feedback from Mck after i have completed the PSG test , Saying that i have completed solve assessment(PSG) and that my score is 533 , does that mean that i have failed or passed the PSG test?, they mention also mention the following “We will reach out to you with information about further steps or updates during the next two weeks. However, it may take us some more time due to a large volume of applications. We kindly ask for some more patience as we want the decisions to be just for all the candidates.”

If anyone had a similar experience please share it with me.

Usually they don’t share the score results after the PSG. In any case, the game is used differently in different offices (some consider it with together with first round, others with the application material, etc), so it is difficult to judge.

Although I understand your desire to get a clear answer on your performance, the only thing you can do now is to act on what is in your control, that is (i) prepare for other interviews/ apply to other companies and/or (ii) wait for the results.

Hey there,

These scores are quite meaningless, unfortunately. Rarely are they sent out and whenever that happens you can find people asking on PrepLounge what to make of it. Use the search function and you will find a few threads on it.

Since Imbellus is constantly adjusting the game in the backend + you are scored on the process and the end result + depending on the office other variables are considered as well (resume, referrals), there is not much to meaningfully interpret.

It's a waiting game. But while you wait, start or continue with your case and fit prep!

This doesn't mean anything. You need to wait several weeks to hear back.

In the meantime, make sure you're 1) Networking with other firms 2) Applying to other firms 3) Case prepping

Hello,

This is unique! I have never seen people getting an email after finishing the SOLVE assessment with their scores.

I do not think you should think much of this. Just wait until the actual results come out as they will be assessing your candidacy holisitically across CV, CL, and SOLVE.
