MBB Interviews Follow-up

I had my first round of interviews with Bain around 2 weeks ago. I emailed HR last week to follow up but still haven't heard back from them. Shall I email again or wait for their response?

I also checked my application portal at Bain. Till yesterday, I couldn't apply for new roles. The application portal used to say “you cannot apply for new roles, since you already have an application in process.” However, I checked the portal again today, and it didn't give me any such message. I was able to apply for new roles. Does that mean I am rejected?

Should I still follow up with HR or is there no hope now?

Please wait! 2 weeks is a perfectly reasonable time for them to take.

I would wait another full 1-2 weeks before following up again. When you do, try to call instead of email.

There is hope, but you should not reach out to HR just yet.

It´s extremely rare, since MBB always do follow up, with good or bad news.
So yes, ABSOLUTELY, reach out to HR, since it´s them doing a terrible job here.
