Timings for Bain Sova test?

Hi,

I have the Bain Sova test coming up soon, and there is no time limit on it. However, I know it's timed and there is a hidden time limit that plays into the final score if exceeded.

There are 4 parts to the test: Numerical, Verbal, Logical and Personality. Can you please give me timings I need to complete each of these sections under?

Hi there!

These timings are not made public, so I wouldn't venture a guess.

However, what is important to know is that these tests prize accuracy more than speed. So it's not about how much time you have to solve the question, but how much time do you need to be virtually certain that this is the correct answer.

So I'd recommend instead to focus on getting to 80% certainty as soon as possible. Don't overthink time and try to not have your mind focused on it during the interview - it will only steal away focus.

You should spend <45 seconds on each numericla + logical question and <30 seconds on the verbal ones. The personality questions are “seperate” in that they aren't about “right” answers.
