Hello everyone. I have received an invitation from Simon Kucher to do an online test as part of my application, which was sent about 2 months ago. I had totally forgotten about the application and even though I have an offer, I'd still be interested to go through the process.

Just curious, what's their online test like? I've seen past threads where participants said it's an SHL-type test but it was for a different region. Is the SK Middle East online test any different? How is it?

Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

First of all, congratulations on the invitation from Simon-Kucher!

I think this is an interesting question that may be relevant for many people. I would be happy to share my thoughts on it:

  • Even though I am quite certain that Simon-Kucher uses the SHL pre-interview assessment in the Middle East as well, I would advise you to reach out to the recruiter or current consulting staff to know for certain.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen

Hi there,

The most likely is that it is an SHL-type test as you've said. It's possible (but unlikely) that it's more like a case-based assessment.

I highly recommend you double-check with the recruiter to be sure.

Hi there,

Always in these situations it's best to reach out to the recruiter and get some additional information on the structure of the interviewer.

The content of the interviewer should be a surprise for you as the candidate, but not the structure.

Best,
Cristian
