Recommended 2024 Consulting Firms - UK and Middle East

Hi mentors,

I am interested in pursuing a career in consulting in 2024 after I graduate and am hoping to target firms in both the UK and Middle East. Could any mentors who have experience in these regions recommend consulting firms that will likely be hiring entry-level consultants in 2024?

I'd love to get a comprehensive list of potential target firms in the UK and Middle East to focus my preparation and networking efforts. Specific management, strategy, tech, healthcare, or generalist consulting firms would all be great to know.

Appreciate any insight mentors can provide on top consulting firms that are expected to be hiring new graduates in these locations in 2024. Thanks in advance for the guidance!

All of them.

A year is a long time.

All of the consultancies should be hiring at different times in the year.

Your job is to network effectively to be in the know for your specific role + region + recruiting channel.

Things move quick. For example, BCG Platinion London randomly had a huge round of interviewing/hiring in Nov 2023. Then they were done.

Please don't rely on coaches or site pages with this - things move quick and it is an ever changing landscape.

Network a ton and apply to a ton of firms.

I have a spreadsheet with these firms and I'm happy to share it for free. Just reach out over DMs.

But upfront, you should apply to as many as possible.

Since it's quite a bad market at the moment, it's best to diversify your risk upfront.

The second thing to keep in mind is that if you want to find the individual status of each firm's application pipeline, then you need to reach out to the recruiter from that specific office. Only they know.

I have a candidate, for instance, interviewing now for London and across ME with MBBs, so these offices are interviewing, but you should still validate this for each of the firms you're targeting directly with the recruiter.
