Hello guys!

I just have a basic question, one and a half years ago I completed PSG but didn't get the result of the game rather a general rejection against the position.

Is that the norm?

Thanks.

Naeem.

Hi Naeem,

Q: One and a half years ago I completed PSG but didn't get the result of the game rather a general rejection against the position. Is that the norm?

Sometimes they provide the score / confirmation you did not pass the game, sometimes they send a generic rejection. After that, you can follow up if needed to clarify.

In any case, the score of the PSG should be valid for one year, so if you apply again you should have to retake it.

If you want to prepare, you can find below the video simulation I created, updated with the new Redrock game that replaced Plant Defense:

Good luck!

Hi Naeem,

Yes, it's the norm. There are variations between the regions, but yes, if it doesn't work out, you just receive a rejection email.

Since more than a year has passed, you can now reapply.

Try to prepare better for the test (feel free to reach out for practice materials) but also have a more solid application strategy. You can leverage the guide below for the latter:

Best,
Cristian

Hi Naeem,

happy to meet you. Yes, it's absolutely standard. Normally, it's a go/no-go message sent out via e-mail at that stage of the application process.

Hi Naeem,

That's fairly typical - you usually won't get a numerical score after taking PSG, you'll either get a rejection or be invited to interview.
