Hi Sarah,

You can select a Kearney coach as follows:

  1. Go to the main page listing the coacheshttps://www.preplounge.com/en/case-coach
  2. Filter the coaches based on your criteria (eg Kearney, budget, language)
  3. Read reviews/profiles – define a shortlist (eg 3-5 coaches)
  4. Send a message to the coaches with your questions and what you would like to work on to see if there is a match
  5. Select the coach that best suits your needs

As a bonus point: you can check their Q&A answers (there is a label called “Q&A Contributions” in the profile) – it should give you an idea of the style of the coach and if it matches what you are looking for.

If you have any questions please feel free to PM me, I help candidates for Kearney as well and know 30+ real questions they asked specifically in the Middle East.

Best,

Francesco

Hey Sarah!

Ok, full disclosure, I am neither. That said, I run trainings for Kearney (yes, Kearney pays me to train their consultants).

I also interviewed at Kearney. And recently placed a candidate at Kearney Middle East.

Importantly, be objective-driven not just in cases but in your life. Do you want a bad coach but you pick them because they're from Kearney ME? As in, you're willing to select from a pool of .05% of all the coaches out there and therefore get a “worse” coach (smaller selection pool)….just because they worked there?

Or, is your goal “get the coach that can support you best"?

This isn't even a spheel for me…who-ever you want to work with is fine by me! But, please please, re-think how you approach things.

If you want to learn math, is it really best to say “they must be a nobel prize winning mathemetician at the same level of Einstein” or is it better to say “who is the best teacher” Don't miss the forest for the trees here :)

Hi Sarah,

First of all, congratulations again on the invitation from Kearney Middle East!

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your question:

  • First of all, while I personally have a broader experience in the consulting domain, I also have in-depth knowledge about the specifics related to Kearney, especially in the Middle East region.
  • Moreover, I would advise you to not only focus on finding a coach specifically from Kearney Middle East, but consider experienced coaches who have helped several coachees for Middle East consulting roles at Kearney and other consulting firms, as I have.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen

Hi Sarah!

I wasn't part of Kearney in ME but have coached multiple candidates for ME and Kearney. In fact, just now I'm working with a candidate who is transferring into the region to Kerney Dubai from a different consulting firm outside of ME.

Feel free to reach out and we can align if I could support you.

Best,
Cristian
