APPROACH
The cases we will practice with are real interview cases, based on my own case experience and tested in actual interviews. This helps considerably in knowing what will “pass the bar”, and also where most candidates face difficulties and how to overcome these. When working with me, you will benefit from my deep experience in life interviews.
I tailor my approach to each candidate, but in general I found the best results come from focusing on three aspects:
- Fixing the foundation: I will help you gain the foundational skills you need to develop to solve any case effectively. This ranges from small tricks that make your life easier, to applying a combination of frameworks and building on your own business judgement.
- Battle-test your approach: Only with professional-level practice you will develop the confidence that it takes to remain calm in a high-pressure situation and overcome hurdles in a case. I will share with you feedback based on the evaluation frameworks we use at Bain to give you a better understanding of what interviewers are looking for. I will be honest, direct and constructive in my feedback to help you identify your development opportunities and work on them.
- Tailoring your fit: I will help you prepare for the fit part of the recruiting process. Although this is more 'subjective' than the case part, there are important things you need to be aware of to make you come across as the right fit for this job, at this company, and in this specific geography.
