What would team members say about you?

This question is simply a spin on the question of “Describe your strengths and weaknesses”. It tests your ability to reflect on your own development needs. A good answer would highlight three strengths and three development areas.

For strengths, try to focus on areas that relate to the consulting competencies (e.g. problem-solving, teamwork, communications, client impact) and for weaknesses be careful not to highlight ‘fatal flaws’ (e.g. I am totally disorganised or hopeless with maths!). Good answers frame a weakness as a strength or highlight strong self-awareness and indicate how you are addressing this. (e.g. I can sometimes be too detail oriented. I am aware of this and am taking steps to ensure I regularly stand back from the detail to take stock of the bigger picture).

My team-members, or my friends because at the moment I don´t have experience, is that my strengths are that I am good in working in teams, because of my way how I communicate and want to know all ideas before deciding a final option.

Different people will have their own different perspectives about me. Answering this on behalf of my team members, collectively, may not be feasible thing to do. According to me, somebody who would have worked with me closely, will most likely refer to me as approachable, a problem-solver and most likely as someone who would always be ready to push their limits and be there for the team when the team needs them.

i hope they would say that it is nice and fruitful to work with me, that i come with my own set of opinions, but leave always room for the other's perspective and have as an aim always the project in my mind.

During my work and class assignments, I always get good feedback that I am a hard worker, kind, self-starter, try to help others, passionate, and never give up. I think these are good criteria that make me a good team player, and I am always willing to improve my skills to be a better team player.  

My colleagues always say about me that I am good listener and try to integrate and hear all team members even shy persons who are not easy for them to talk. I am methodical and structured.

I am an optimist and positive person in hard times I push the team to work and not to feel down in critical moments.

I received this comment from my previous manager. I am a hardworker but I am too detail-oriented as well as I always want all the work to be done in a short period by looking at the whole details and it is impossible to do it. Therefore, I am working on that by defining priorities and what is necessary and have to be done.
