Ex-BCG Partner, Switzerland. I decided who got the offer.
I've been a Partner and recruiting decision-maker at BCG, where I built the Transform practice in Switzerland. Before that, I was a Director at AlixPartners. I hold an INSEAD MBA and today run my own advisory firm near Zurich, working with private equity funds, family offices and owner-led businesses.
What this means for your preparation: I did not just pass the interview once. I ran it, on both sides of the table and with different styles, for years. I sat in the round-table discussions where candidates were debated and the offer decision was actually made. I know what gets someone through, what gets someone rejected despite a clean case, and how differently that calculation runs for a graduate versus an experienced hire.
Who I work with
Graduates and MBA candidates targeting MBB and the wider strategy market, and experienced professionals moving in laterally at Consultant, Manager, Principal or Partner level. For the second group, that decision turns far less on case technique than most people assume, and far more on how credibly you tell your track record and how well you read the firm you are joining.
I coach in English and German, and I know the Swiss and German market specifically well.
